She was arrested because she refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery bus to a white man.

4. How long did the Montgomery Bus Boycott last?

It lasted for a little over one year.

5. What organization did Rosa Parks co-found in 1995?

She co-founded the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self development with Ms. Elaine Eason Steele.
