ESL Lesson - Mother's Day

Mother's Day is on the second Sunday in May. It is a day to honor mothers and grandmothers. Children make their mom breakfast in bed, give her cards and flowers, sing her a song, take her to a restaurant, clean the house for her, and give her a hug. (3 pages)

  • Children should let mothers sleep late on Mother's Day.

  • Mothers will appreciate getting to sleep late.


Breakfast in Bed on Mother's Day

Breakfast in Bed

  • Children make breakfast for their mother on Mother's Day.

  • They put the breakfast on a tray and bring it to her while she is in bed.
