Funerals are solemn events that honor a dead person's life. When a person dies they can be buried or cremated, or they can donate their body to science for medical research. (3 pages)



  • This is a casket.

  • When people die their bodies are put in a casket.

  • The casket is buried in the ground.




  • This is an urn.

  • When people die and are cremated, their bodies are put in an urn.

  • Urns are buried in the ground or placed in small vaults above ground.
