Easter is always on a Sunday in March or April. It is a religious holiday so some people attend church. Others celebrate this holiday in a non-religious manner. Traditional ways to observe Easter include coloring hard-boiled eggs, having an Easter egg hunt, giving children an Easter basket filled with candy and small toys, and buying new clothes in pretty pastel colors.
Easter
Easter is in March or April. It does not have a fixed date but it is always on a Sunday.
The date April 20th is circled on this calendar. Easter might be on a different date this year.
Easter Egg Hunt
Adults hide colored eggs on Easter morning.
The children carry their Easter basket and search for the eggs.
When they find an egg, they pick it up and put it in their basket.
