Parts of a Bicycle

  • A bicycle has a seat, wheels, handlebars, pedals, and other parts.

  • Lights and reflectors help drivers see riders at night.




  • Tricycles have three wheels.

  • A tricycle has a large wheel in front and two smaller wheels in back.

  • Small children ride tricycles because they are easy to ride.




  • A unicycle has one wheel.

  • It is difficult to ride a unicycle.

  • A bike lane is for bike riders only.

  • Bike lanes are usually next to the curb.
