Lifeguard at the Beach


  • The safest location to swim at the beach is near a lifeguard.

  • Lifeguards sit on tall chairs so they have a good view of swimmers in the water.


Build Sandcastles


  • Children build sandcastles with sand, water, buckets and shovels.

  • The sand needs to be moist to sick together.


Get a Suntan

Get a Suntan

  • When skin is exposed to sunlight, it turns brown. This is called getting a suntan.

  • Be careful you do not stay in the sun too long or you will get sunburnt.
