Lifeguard
The safest location to swim at the beach is near a lifeguard.
Lifeguards sit on tall chairs so they have a good view of swimmers in the water.
Sandcastles
Children build sandcastles with sand, water, buckets and shovels.
The sand needs to be moist to sick together.
Dry sand does not stick together.
Get a Suntan
When skin is exposed to sunlight, it turns brown. This is called getting a suntan.
Be careful. Do not stay in the sun too long or you will get sunburnt.
Too much sun can cause skin cancer.
