Are unknown soldiers honored? Yes, they are. The President gives a speech and lays a wreath in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

How do relatives and friends remember deceased soldiers on Memorial Day? They decorate their graves with flowers and flags.

What else do families do on this special holiday? They have a picnic in a park.
