People go to the park to have a picnic, walk, jog, ride bikes, skate, and play sports. Some people go to the park to sit and relax. Parks have grass, trees, benches, trashcans, water fountains, and restrooms. Some parks have play equipment for kids and basketball courts or tennis courts for adults. The park in this lesson is a large park located in California. It has a manmade lake and ducks. (3 pages)
