Turn the Clock Forward in the Spring

Ahead One Hour

  • Daylight savings time takes place at 2:00 AM.

  • Most people change their clocks the night before.


Turn the Clock Back in the Fall

Back One Hour

  • Daylight savings time ends at 2:00 AM.

  • Most people have four or five clocks to change.

  • Computers have a setting which will automatically change the time for users.


Spring Forward and Fall Back

Spring - Fall

  • There is a saying to help people remember which way to turn their clocks.

  • It is: Spring forward and fall back.

  • Hawaii and most of Arizona don't observe daylight savings time.
