Animals at the Zoo Lesson

by www.elcivics.com

A zoo is a park where animals are kept in cages or enclosures. The animals in a zoo are from different parts of the world. Most zoos have programs that teach children and adults about the lives and needs of wild animals. Zoos charge admission fees to enter the park. Most zoos have restaurants and small shops where visitors can buy souvenirs. Going to the zoo is fun. It's a great way for the whole family to spend the day together. (3 pages)
