Liberty Bell

The Liberty Bell: The Liberty Bell is a symbol of the American Revolution, the American War of Independence, the abolitionist movement, and of freedom. It was rung on July 8, 1776, to announce the reading of the Declaration of Independence. It is located at the Liberty Bell Center (outside link) near Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
