Transportation

This free transportation lesson is designed for beginning ESL students who are learning English at home or in a classroom. It includes images of cars, trucks, trains, and airplanes. It also includes downloadable worksheets and PowerPoints about vehicles. (10 pages)

Car Cars are the most common type of transportation in modern countries. Cars are expensive to buy and maintain. Most cars run on gasoline, but now hybrid and electric cars are popular. Hybrid cars are good for the environment.

Convertible Convertible cars have tops that go down. Convertibles are fun to drive in the summer.
