Drivers need to understand the meaning of traffic and road signs. The Department of Motor Vehicles gives a written test that includes traffic signs. Each country has different traffic signs and symbols. The signs in this unit are generic and may not be same as those in your country or state. They are intended for practice only. (8 pages)

  • Stop signs are red octagons.


  • Stop signs are one of the most important traffic signs.


  • Drivers should come to a complete stop.

 

No Right Turn

No Right Turn

  • This sign means that drivers can't turn right.


  • A red circle with a red diagonal line in the center means "NO".
