Church Funeral

  • Many people have a religious funeral.


  • A religious funeral is conducted at a church, temple, or synagogue.


  • People who are not religious have a civil funeral.

  • A church service is led by a religious leader.


  • The casket or urn of the dead person is displayed in the front of the church. Flower arrangements are placed beside the casket or urn.


  • Mourners pray and share memories about the deceased person.

  • A funeral procession is a long line of cars.


  • The front car is a hearse that carries the deceased person.


  • The cars drive slowly to the cemetery with their lights on.
