The environment includes the air, water, and land. People and animals need a clean environment. This lesson includes information and images of environmental problems like global warming, smog, overcrowding, water pollution, deforestation, and nuclear waste. (3 pages)

Population Growth The population of the world is rapidly increasing. In 2011, there were over seven billion (7,000,000,000) people in the world.

Smog Smog is air pollution. Smog comes from cars and factories.
