People wash their clothes in washing machines. They use detergent and water. Laundry detergent can be powder or liquid. The wet clothes can be dried in a dryer or hung on a clothesline. After the clothes are dry, they are folded and put away. (3 pages)



  • People go to the laundromat to wash and dry their clothes.
  • Laundromats have washing machines and dryers.
  • You need to put money in the machines at the laundromat.
