ESL Lesson - Containers

Containers hold things. Many containers have a lid. Containers can be made from glass, metal, cardboard, wire, or plastic. This lesson shows bottles, jars, cartons, bowls, cans, boxes, barrels and other types of containers. (3 pages)

Bottles Bottles are made from glass. Bottles are tall and narrow. This is a bottle of ketchup.

Jar This is a jar. Jars are made from glass. Jars have lids. Lids screw onto the top of the jar. This is a jar of pickles.
